The Scotlanders had been invited to visit the Scottish Borders by VisitScotland. The aim was to further promote the new Scottish Borders Railway – launching in September 2015 – that will travel from Edinburgh to Tweedbank and stop throughout Midlothian and Scottish Borders before finishing at the final destination, all in under an hour.
The Scotlanders were each focusing on a different areas within the Borders, starting Wed 10th June and finishing Sunday 14th June 2015. There we adored the rolling hills, the enchanting forests, the charming villages and eat like kings, enjoying the excellent local produce served throughout the Scottish Borders.
